Power BI consultant for Dubai and the UAE: fixed-price reporting that runs itself.

For finance and operations leaders who still assemble the month-end pack, the sales report and the board deck by hand. You get one governed data model, dashboards leadership can rely on, and a team trained to run them.

Reporting diagnostic AED 4,950, builds from AED 15,500 See how a quote is built

Quoted before work starts Remote delivery, 7am–7pm GST, seven days Or ask a question first

Every engagement is scoped in writing and quoted as a fixed price before any build starts. The reports connect to your finance system, spreadsheets and operational tools, refresh on a schedule, and live in your own Microsoft tenant.

Process

How an engagement runs

Five steps, in this order, on every engagement. Each one ends with something in writing that you keep whether or not the next step goes ahead.

1

Review

A short call, no charge, then a look at the reports you assemble today, the systems they come from and who reads them.

Deliverable: a one-page summary of sources, reports and readers, in writing.

2

Scope and fixed quote

The written scope names the sources, the data model, the report pages and visuals, the users, the security rules, the training and the handover. The quote is set against that scope, and the quote is the price.

Deliverable: scope document and fixed quote, before any build starts.

3

Build

Model first, visuals second. The data model is reconciled to your source figures before a chart is drawn, so every page is built on numbers that already agree with the ledger. A weekly check-in shows progress in your own workspace.

Deliverable: a reconciled model, then report pages, reviewed weekly.

4

Handover and training

The workspace is yours from the start; at handover the documentation, the KPI definitions and the refresh schedule are yours as well. Training is run on your reports, not on sample files.

Deliverable: documentation, workspace ownership, recorded training sessions.

5

Support

Optional. A managed service covers refresh monitoring, small changes and questions, on a monthly arrangement you can end without penalty.

Deliverable: a monthly support arrangement, if you want one.

Pricing

Fixed-price, always

How the number is built, in five steps. There are no day rates and no open-ended invoices.

A short discovery call, no charge

Thirty minutes on Teams, and a look at your current reports and systems. No proposal is written on the call.

A written scope

Sources, model, pages and visuals, users, security, training and handover, each listed so there is no argument later about what was included.

A fixed quote against that scope

The quote is the price. It is not a day-rate estimate and it is not a "from" figure.

Surprises are handled one way

If we find something worse than expected inside the scope, that is our cost. If you want something outside the scope, we quote it separately before doing it.

Payment stages, written into the scope

The stages and the amount due at each one are set out in the scope document before you sign, so the payment plan is agreed at the same time as the price.

Two figures are worth publishing alongside that method. A reporting diagnostic is AED 4,950: a review of the reports and systems you run today, and a written list of what is slowing reporting down and what to fix first. That is the whole amount. Nothing is added at checkout.

A build starts at AED 15,500, and most fall between AED 15,500 to AED 62,000, depending on how many systems the reporting pulls from, how much cleaning the data needs and how many report pages you want. Those are starting points for the conversation, not a checkout: a build is scoped in writing and quoted against that scope, and the quote is the price.

Anchors, not a rate card: the diagnostic fee is fixed, and where a build lands is set by the scope. That is why the method sits above the numbers.
Sources

Built for the systems UAE businesses actually run

The finance system is rarely the only source. Most reporting in the Emirates also has to pull from a warehouse or property system, a payroll file and a set of workbooks.

The standard reporting problem is a group with a mainland LLC and one or more free-zone entities, each on its own ledger with its own chart of accounts, consolidated in Excel at month-end. One governed model maps each entity to a shared account structure, so leadership sees the group, an entity or a branch from the same pages. The model can also reconcile to the VAT return and keep free-zone income separate, covered on the Excel to Power BI migration Dubai page; we are not tax agents, and the reporting is explanatory, not advice.

What we don't claim

You will not find client logos, star ratings or a partner badge on this site. Oakwood Group is a new practice in the UAE and we would rather show you how we work than borrow proof. What we can show you: our process, our pricing method, demo dashboards built on synthetic data that you can open right now, and the partnership under which the work is delivered.

Delivered in partnership with Roar Data, an Australian Power BI consultancy.

Questions

Questions people ask before booking

How much does Power BI consulting cost in Dubai?
A reporting diagnostic is AED 4,950. That is the whole amount. Nothing is added at checkout. A build starts at AED 15,500, and most fall between AED 15,500 to AED 62,000. Where yours lands depends on how many systems the reporting has to pull from, how much cleaning the data needs and how many report pages you want, which is why a build is quoted against a written scope rather than sold at a list price. The method is the same every time: a short call, a written scope, then a fixed quote against that scope. The quote is the price, and nothing inside the scope is billed on top of it. The fixed-pricing section above sets out each step.
How long does a first dashboard take?
For one source system and a first set of report pages, a few weeks from the signed scope is usual: the model is built and reconciled first, then the visuals. Reporting that consolidates several entities or systems takes longer, and the written scope gives you a timeline before you commit. The pace is set mostly by access: the sooner we can connect to the source systems, the sooner the first refresh runs.
Do you work with our existing Power BI licences?
Yes. Reports are built in your own Microsoft tenant and published to workspaces you own, so they run on whatever you already pay for: Power BI Pro, Premium Per User or a Fabric capacity. If you have no licences yet, the scope sets out the options, including the fact that Microsoft is retiring per-capacity Premium P-SKUs in favour of Fabric capacities, so you are not buying into something that is being phased out.
Do you serve Abu Dhabi and Sharjah?
Yes. Oakwood Group serves Dubai and the whole UAE: Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Umm Al Quwain and Al Ain. Delivery is remote, so the emirate does not change how the work is done or what it costs. The Power BI consulting UAE page covers the national picture, including Microsoft Fabric and reporting that spans more than one emirate.
Is the work done remotely?
Yes. Review sessions, build check-ins and training run over Teams between 7am and 7pm Gulf Standard Time, seven days a week. Everything is built inside your Microsoft environment and connected through a gateway on your network where a source needs one, so there is nothing to ship or install on site.
What does the first call cover?
Thirty minutes, no charge. We ask which systems the numbers come from, which reports are assembled by hand today, who reads them and what they decide from them. You leave knowing whether Power BI is the right next step, what the smallest useful first build would be, and what we would need to see in order to write a scope. There is no proposal on the call; the written scope and the fixed quote follow it.

Quoted before work starts. The quote is the price.

Scoped in writing, quoted as a fixed price against that scope. Anything worse than expected inside the scope is our cost; anything outside it is quoted before it is done.
